Ermitage Wellness- & Spa-Hotel pioneered Alpine wellness with the first brine bath in the Alps. This 5-star resort on a sunny plateau above Gstaad features a 3500 square metre wellness centre and panoramic mountain views. The property includes a cinema, wine cellar with tastings, and the One Million Stars Bar adorned with Swarovski crystals.

Wood-Furnished Soundproofed Rooms

All 68 rooms feature soundproofing, pillow menus, air conditioning, and furnished balconies with mountain or park views. Accommodations include minibars, seating areas, and hypoallergenic bedding with some offering spa baths and steam showers. The resort provides single rooms, twin rooms, junior suites, and multi-bedroom suites with kitchen facilities.

Regional Cuisine Dining

Half-board includes breakfast buffet, lunch, afternoon cake and coffee, and a 5-course dinner menu with regional specialties. The resort features eight restaurant parlors including the ERMITAGE Stube, Laurenz-Stube, and steakhouse serving dry-aged beef. Local suppliers provide bread from Chnusper Becke, cheese from Spitzhorn farm, and meat from Buure Metzg Schönried.

The 3500 square metre wellness centre offers indoor and outdoor saltwater pools, an outdoor sports pool, and 10 saunas and steam baths.
